Stretching is the act of releasing tension from the muscles, joints, ligaments, and tendons, while gaining mobility and flexibility. Restorative Yoga is the act of “restoring” the body to its parasympathetic nervous system function, which, in turn, helps the body rest, heal, and restore balance.
